I believe that the Bible is literally true and should be interpreted literally unless the content of the passage, text and/or verses show that it should be interpreted figuratively.

I believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and is used for teaching, correcting and preparing God’s people (2 Timothy 3:16). 

I believe that God created the heavens and the earth and all that is therein (Genesis 1:1, Colossians 1:16).

I believe that man is created in God’s image (Genesis 1:26, Matthew 19:4).

I believe that man disobeyed God and as a result brought death and destruction into this world (Genesis 3:1-19, Romans 5:12-21).

I believe that man is powerless to save himself (Psalm 33:13-17).

I believe that Jesus Christ, the Messiah, is the only way for man to be saved (Acts 4:12).

I believe that Jesus Christ died on a cross and rose from the dead on the third day to make salvation possible (Philippians 2:8, Mark 8:31).

I believe that Jesus conquered sin and death so that we can have eternal life (John 5:24).

I believe that Jesus will return again to the earth to reign and rule (Acts 1:6-11).

I believe that all who reject Jesus, those who are not in the Book of Life, will be cast into hell forever, the second death (Revelation 20:11-15).

I believe that a man must confess and believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord of his life and to stop living a sinful life (John 3:16, Acts 2:38).
