Isaiah 6 is a Christian web site dedicated to bringing Biblical teaching of God's word to people all over the world via the Internet. The teaching contained within these web pages is freely available to all; "freely you have received, freely give" Matthew 10:8.

Isaiah 6's mission is found it the logo. Isaiah 6 is dedicated to bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ, the light of the world to all men; John 1:1-9. The logo is made up of three parts. The first part if the world itself covered in darkness. The second part is the cross shining forth from Israel. The third part is part of the verse from Isaiah 9:2 that is across the top of the picture.

The darken world represents sin's darkness that covered the world after mankind ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; Genesis 3:1-7. Prior to the fall, God fellowshiped with man in the cool light of day; Genesis 3:8. However, man disobeyed God and as a result mankind fell and the world was covered in sin's darkness.

The darken world with the cross shining forth from Israel is based on the fact that salvation is of the Jews', John 4:22. Jesus Christ, a.k.a. The Messiah, was born a Jew. His life is dedicated to reconciling God the Father to mankind. His teachings shows us the Father's heart and what true religion is about. His death and resurrection paid the price for our sins so that we can enter into God's presence covered by His blood.

The words "The people who lived in darkness have seen a great light" is based on the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Without Jesus, there would be no light given to the world and thus, mankind would still be in darkness, forever lost in our sins.
